Reader Communities needed help with the market launch of a brand new master planned community in Wake Forest, NC of ~300 homes in the first phase and 0ver 700 new homes in the master plan. Because of the size of the project they knew they needed a team that knew real estate and could handle all facets of strategy and execution of marketing the community and could support the three homebuilder sales teams.

Yellow Duck Marketing created the overall 5-year plan to support three homebuilders in this new TND community near Raleigh that plays on focus of playing outside like yesteryear. We were able to develop a brand and collateral for Holding Village along with Anoroc Agency that perfectly reflected the nostalgic ambiance of the neighborhood and community lake. In the Summer of 2015, we launched a full-scale website that featured a community map, custom builder floor plan and home feeds and details about upcoming neighborhood events. Since then the website has been redesigned twice and receives 4,000 visitors a month.

The team helped name streets, oversee realtor relations, PR, design signage and host signature events known to draw a crowd. In the launch period, the ducks grabbed attention from Realtor VIPs by inviting them to a preview event via puzzles that resulted in 33 home sales in the first 3 months. The team provides ongoing email, SEO and Paid Search management of all PPC. The ducks also provide ongoing brand support, social media and shot a video and lifestyle photography that has been showcased on the website and ads. The final sales result is on time and under budget.
