Taylor Morrison is the seventh largest homebuilder in the U.S. but is a relatively new name in North Carolina, entering the state through acquisition in 2015. The company hired us in early 2017 to help increase awareness around its 14 communities and its growth story in the Charlotte region. Working closely with Taylor Morrison’s local marketing team and corporate communications staff in Arizona, Yellow Duck Marketing embarked on a public relations program to highlight new community groundbreakings, grand openings and key executive hires at the Charlotte division. The result: A steady drumbeat of coverage that has raised the profile of the Taylor Morrison name in Charlotte and in the surrounding counties where many of its new communities are located.
