The Diocese established the campaign theme, Making Room, as an invitation to create space in hearts, homes, and communities so that more people could know the love of Jesus. Our role was to translate that vision into a campaign identity that felt welcoming, joyful, and contemporary while remaining respectful of the traditions of the Catholic Church.
During the discovery process, we collaborated closely with the Diocese team and CCS Fundraising, who led the campaign strategy and developed the campaign messaging and copy. With the content and messaging established, our design team focused on developing the visual identity and materials needed to bring the campaign to life. The Diocese wanted to engage a new generation of donors with bold, eye-catching materials while remaining approachable to longtime parishioners. The campaign needed to feel modern without being trendy, spiritual without relying on traditional church design, and flexible enough to extend across a wide range of print and digital communications.
Campaign Identity
Our design team explored multiple creative directions before developing the final campaign identity. Every element, from typography and color palette to supporting graphics and imagery, was thoughtfully considered to create a flexible visual system that could be carried across every campaign touchpoint. The result was a brand that felt fresh and inviting while staying true to the campaign’s mission.
With the brand established, the project quickly expanded. Working within an accelerated timeline, our team developed a broad range of campaign materials in English and Spanish.
Campaign Materials
- Case for Support and brochures
- Pocket folders and mail inserts
- Giving plan and Ways to Give materials
- Pledge and commitment cards
- Prayer, census, and volunteer cards
Campaign Resources
- Parish and mission case statements
- Volunteer and training guides
- FAQs and supporting campaign materials
- Launch event postcards
- Posters and pop-up banners
Digital & Brand Tools
- Digital letterhead
- PowerPoint presentation template
- Brand guidelines
- Custom stationery and notecards
- Bilingual and language-specific materials
Rather than approaching each piece as a standalone project, we built a cohesive design system that allowed every asset to feel connected while accommodating different formats, audiences, and languages.
Creating bilingual materials required thoughtful coordination throughout the project. Our team carefully reviewed English and Spanish layouts to ensure the design remained consistent while allowing each version to communicate naturally and effectively. This approach created a consistent experience across both languages while keeping the campaign look and feel intact.
Campaign Design Strategy
We translated the Making Room campaign vision and messaging into a visual identity that could work across different audiences, formats, and communications. Our team established the campaign’s visual system, developed initial design concepts, and refined the creative direction to create a brand that felt welcoming, contemporary, and consistent across every touchpoint.
Project Management & Production
From kickoff through the June campaign launch, our team managed a fast-moving project with multiple deliverables, ongoing client reviews, and tight production timelines. Clear communication, organized workflows, and close coordination across design, content, client feedback, and production allowed us to move quickly while maintaining consistency and quality.
Campaign Materials & Graphic Design
With the visual foundation established, our team translated the campaign identity across a comprehensive suite of print and digital materials, including donor collateral, parish and volunteer resources, launch materials, presentation tools, and branded stationery. Bilingual production added another layer of coordination, requiring careful attention to layout, hierarchy, and consistency across English and Spanish materials.
To support the campaign beyond launch, we developed a comprehensive brand standards guide along with editable PowerPoint and digital letterhead templates. These resources gave the Diocese the tools to confidently create future communications while maintaining a consistent look and feel across the Making Room campaign.
The result was more than a collection of well-designed materials. It was a complete bilingual campaign identity that translated one vision across every touchpoint, from printed collateral to digital communications. By combining thoughtful branding with efficient execution, we delivered a comprehensive campaign system on schedule, providing the Diocese with the resources needed to launch Making Room with confidence.
