Hey there, I’m Kay! As the Senior Art Director at Yellow Duck, I’ve had an incredible 11-year journey at the Duck Pond, building an impressive portfolio along the way.

I started my adventure at YDM as a graphic design intern and swam against the current, holding not just one, not two or three, but FIVE different titles before becoming the Senior Art Director. I’ve been the creative force behind successful brand launches like Alliance Optimist Park, Broadstone Ingleside, Revel Apartments, and The Pointe. I’ve crafted eye-catching graphics and collateral that stop traffic (literally!) for clients such as Charlotte Water, Vantage South End and Waverly.

When it comes to my specialties, video and motion graphics take the cake. I’ve worked on exciting projects like the Humane Society partnership with former Panther’s Coach Ron Rivera and even won a Davey award for the remarkable Teach For America Video.

I’m a proud graduate of the University of South Carolina (Go Gamecocks!) with a degree in Visual Communications. After a short stint at a company that wasn’t the right fit, I found my true home at YDM, and I’ve been here ever since. In fact, I was the first duck to spread my wings and work remotely – before it became cool. It turned out to be a smart move, giving my family the flexibility to relocate four times over the years and land exactly where we wanted to be.

Being a homebody at heart, I reside in the CSRA (Aiken/Augusta area) on 21 acres I now call my forever home, with my husband and our rambunctious little boy keeping things interesting. Designing is not just my profession but my passion, and I stay closely involved with the Advocacy and Leadership team for Fostering the Family Aiken/Edgefield Chapter.
