As a Jr. Graphic Designer, Catalina assists the design team with creative elements for graphic and print projects. One of her favorite types of assignments is creating brands from start to finish. She especially enjoys building out all the brand elements, down the very subtle details, to make sure they interact positively with each other.
Prior to YDM, she spent two years with a marketing agency supporting their marketing and design team and producing magazine publications, flat lays, stop motion graphics and animations.
Catalina is originally from Pennsylvania and lived in central South Carolina for most of her life. She graduated from Winthrop University with a degree in Visual Communication with a focus in Graphic Design. She gives back to her alma mater by continuing to serve on The CVPA Diversity, Equity and Social Justice Council, which helps ensure that the needs of the college’s BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) and LGBTQ+ students are appropriately being met through curriculum, campus life and more.
At work, you’ll most likely catch her listening to her favorite true crime podcast or the latest BTS jams. She enjoys eating at new restaurants with her friends, binging the latest hot show on Netflix or simply just spending time with her family.
