Collett Capital, now operating as Canvas Residential, is a real estate private equity firm specializing in build-to-rent (BTR), multifamily, retail, and mixed-use developments. When Collett was wanting to ensure their BFR and multifamily communities stood out among the competition, they brought in Yellow Duck to help with five communities and a mixed use commercial space.

The Ducks held visioning charrettes for Collett communities from Charlotte to the Coast to the Peach State and crafted award-winning brands, standout marketing materials and promotional assets that carry the brand into lease up and beyond.

Collett is bringing the best in build for rent to the Mountain Island Lake area of Charlotte and wanted to ensure the community’s brand stood out and leaned into the draws of lake living and an outdoor-centric neighborhood. Yellow Duck designed a memorable brand and brought it through the marketing collateral with custom laser cut business cards, rack cards and branded leasing folder. Yellow Duck designed and developed a landing page to help the project teams collect leads and gather interest in a streamlined way. The Ducks then designed and managed the build of a Jonah® Digital website to help translate the brand application within the Jonah website environment and support the development and property management teams get off to a great start with lease up.

BUILDING GREENSBORO’S MOST CONNECTED COMMUNITY

Now leasing in the quickly growing Piedmont-Triad, Revel is Greensboro’s newest and most connected community. Focused on providing ample communal and amenity spaces to help residents foster a lively and comfortable place to call home, Revel Apartments stands out among its competition. Yellow Duck partnered with Collett from the inception and ideation of this community project to help craft a thoughtful and outdoor-centric community that would resonate with future residents. Throughout the planning and development process, Yellow Duck assisted with everything from naming and branding the community, to assisting with signage consulting, new resident swag ideation and design and designing leasing materials that leave a lasting impression. The Ducks designed a Jonah® website for the community and helpful materials such as a detailed site map, brochures and rack cards, and a custom illustrated neighborhood area map that helps newcomers to the area understand the convenience the community has with major commuting arteries and ample area amenities within minutes of this tucked away serene community.

HELPING MAKE AVERY PLACE THE PLACE TO CALL HOME

When leasing efforts were moving slower than needed, Yellow Duck helped revisit strategy and marketing collateral and assets for Avery Place, a build for rent community in Charlotte. The Ducks refreshed and implemented temporary signage, a weekend directionals program, digital ads, social media graphics, website and more, helping grow units leased to 98%+ in under 4 months.
