Hi, I’m Rhonda Sergeant, and I’m the Production & Office Manager at YDM. My role is to keep our print jobs organized and on track while also ensuring the office runs smoothly, so the team has everything they need to deliver top-notch work.

My career journey began in Chicago, where I was immersed in publication design. I had the opportunity to help create six monthly sports magazines, covering everything from marathons to kayaking. This experience taught me how to be creative within tight budgets and manage projects on a deadline. From there, I worked as Art Director on the launch of Naperville Magazine, a regional lifestyle publication, which is still thriving today. After moving to Charlotte in 2006, I’ve worked as a freelance designer as well as with several design agencies in production management.

Outside of work, I’m deeply passionate about education. I serve as the PTO President at McClintock Middle School, where I work alongside a small group of parent volunteers to support the staff and celebrate the students’ achievements.

When I’m not in the office or volunteering, you’ll likely find me enjoying the outdoors, exercising, reading or crafting. One of my goals this year is to learn how to make felted crafts – so feel free to check in on my progress!
