Color affects our environments, our mood, our lives. Never was a color change so evident as when Wachovia and their serene blue/green wave logo was replaced on October 15th with Wells Fargo’s red and yellow stagecoach scheme. That meant in Charlotte, where Yellow Duck Marketing’s and Wachovia’s headquarters are located, every street corner seemed to switch from cool to angry and urgent overnight. The change was dramatic and seemed to change the color of the city.
Intern Alice and I were talking about this occurence and the psychology of color so we decided to do an infographic on color. Please enjoy and share!
