Welcome back to our 6th annual Duck Love Week! Every year since 2020, the ducks take this week to spread love and joy by giving back to our community and beyond. Duck Love Week is a tribute to our company’s anniversary and driven by a deep commitment to making a positive impact in our community.
This year, we set out once again to support organizations that make Charlotte a stronger, kinder and more connected place to call home. Here’s a recap of how we shared the love during Duck Love Week 2025:
Day 1: Supporting Our Furry Friends
We kicked off the week by giving back to our animal community with a $200 donation to the Humane Society of Charlotte. This amazing organization helps dogs and cats find their forever homes and provides vital care for animals in need. Helping our four-legged friends was the perfect way to start spreading joy.
Day 2: Lemonade for Love
On Tuesday, we hosted our annual Duck Love Week Lemonade Stand — and it was a sweet success! With the support of our friends, families and community, we raised $1,316.55 for Foster Village Charlotte. Foster Village provides critical resources and support to foster families, ensuring children feel safe and loved during times of transition. While rainy weather pushed the event back by a week, we’re so grateful to everyone who showed up to sip, smile and support such an important cause. Experience the recap here.
Day 3: Investing in Nature
Midweek, we turned our focus to the great outdoors by purchasing $150 worth of items from the Anne Springs Close Greenway Amazon Wishlist. The Anne Springs Close Greenway is a beautiful local treasure that connects people to nature, offering trails, programs and space to recharge. Supporting their mission helps ensure our community continues to have access to these green spaces for years to come.
Day 4: Nourishing Our Neighbors
On Thursday, we got hands-on with service by preparing150 sandwiches for Roof Above, an organization dedicated to supporting Charlotte’s unhoused community. Small acts like a fresh meal can make a big difference, and we were grateful to contribute directly to the care and dignity of our neighbors.
Day 5: Closing with Care
To wrap up the week, we turned our hearts toward women and children in crisis. We supported My Sister’s House with a $150 Amazon Wishlist order, helping to meet immediate needs for families navigating some of life’s most difficult moments. Ending the week with this gesture felt like the perfect way to carry forward the spirit of Duck Love.
We’re so proud of the impact Duck Love Week 2025 made, but the work of these incredible organizations continues every day. If you’re able, please consider supporting them — every gift, big or small, makes a difference in our community.
