The Yellow Duck team was thrilled to partner with Tim Webber Events to coordinate a weekend full of Grand Opening fun for Rivington, Reader Community’s newest master-planned community in DeBary, FL. The events included a Realtor VIP night, Groundbreaking Ceremony and a Prospect Grand Opening.

To show Realtors our appreciation and express our excitement to work with them, we planned a special VIP event exclusively for them. It was a lovely night where 55 Realtors got to walk through each of the builders’ model homes, indulge in drinks from our tiki bar and enjoy some light bites including caprese skewers and an avocado bar. We also had live acoustic guitarists playing throughout the evening. To top it all off, we had Rivington branded cookies from The Unorthodox Baker for everyone to take home with them, and one lucky Realtor won a spa gift card to the Ritz-Carlton.

The following morning, we hosted Rivington’s Groundbreaking Ceremony. Guests were welcomed with freshly squeezed lemonade and were able to reconnect with colleagues before the ceremony began. After the ceremony, with personalized gold shovels in hand, people made their way over to break ground for the highly anticipated amenity center. As a parting gift, we put together branded Rivington tumblers filled with candy.

Two-hundred fifty people came out for a fun-filled day during the Prospect Grand Opening. The registration area was the first stop for everyone where they received a branded swag bag complete with a Rivington coloring book, crayons, hand sanitizer and tumbler. From there, a golf cart took them over to tour our incredible single-family model homes from Dream Finders Homes, K. Hovnanian Homes and M/I Homes. In between tours, they were able to indulge in a meal from one of our fantastic food trucks – The Big Cheese or Smoke in the City while listening to tunes by DJ Nigel. Those who visited all three model homes were entered in our prize drawing where we gave out a $500 Lowe’s gift card, annual family pass to the Central Florida Zoo, and over $800 in gift cards to local restaurants, breweries and the Sun Rail.

Together, we were able to bring the branding of the community through to truly give people a glimpse of what living at Rivington will feel like.
